INFO
Lee Blankenship is a visual artist based in Oregon. His work explores multispecies politics and existential boundaries between living/nonliving beings. Blankenship is specifically focused on how modalities of seeing can challenge our spatial and temporal assignments to natural phenomena and processes, and the default paradigm of anthropogenic geography. Emmert is interested in how our interaction with natural forms can redefine our attributions to diverse physical, biological, and cultural features—and encourage ecocentrism as a mechanism for framing land and life.
